Founding Story

One February evening in 2023, two sisters, the founders of UNTAM3D, were having a casual conversation about their skincare routines. This wasn't their usual shopping chat. Instead, they realized a recurring theme: both found their skincare regimens overwhelming and time-consuming.

Kasturi, balancing her acting career and family life, voiced her frustration. She cherished the time she spent with her kids and found it challenging to devote hours to her skincare routine. Meanwhile, Shaonie, navigating the demands of her corporate hustle, could barely manage a few minutes for a night cream if she was in a good mood, and a quick application of sunscreen in the morning.

That evening, they pondered, "What if there could be products that made life easier? Products that followed our routines rather than demanding us to follow theirs?" What began as a light-hearted banter quickly turned into a serious discussion about the possibilities of effortless skincare solutions. They envisioned products that required minimal time but delivered maximum results, perfectly aligning with their busy lifestyles.

However, they knew they needed more than just an idea. They turned to their father, S.P. Maitra a veteran in the field who had launched several blockbuster brands and possessed extensive knowledge of formulations and skincare molecules. With his expertise, they refined their vision and ensured their products were scientifically sound and effective.

Their goal was clear: to simplify skincare with multifaceted formulas that provided positive results without compromising on quality. Leveraging their understanding of science-backed ingredients and the mechanisms of molecules, they set out to create products suitable for all skin types and conditions.

The father, a pharma veteran with over 45 years in the pharmaceutical industry, brings a depth of scientific wisdom to UNTAM3D. His expertise in formulas and molecules forms the backbone of the brand's commitment to effective & science-backed skincare. Under his leadership, some of the block buster pharma brands like Intaxel, Gastrogyl , Cilakar and others were launched and he took many more brands to the next level like Pan 40, Zinetac etc
